With temperatures currently still in excess of 30° and the red warning for severe high temperature now in place until 23:59 Friday evening, Sawley Cricket Club have made the decision to postpone all junior activities for the rest of this week, whilst also cancelling senior training.

Therefore the list of cancellations is as follows;
Wednesday 24th June - Junior training cancelled & Dynamos postponed.
Thursday 25th June - Sandiacre Town U15B vs Sawley U15 - match postponed
Thursday 25th June - Ilkeston Rutland U11 vs Sawley U11 - match postponed
Thursday 25th June - Senior training cancelled
Friday 26th June - Kwik Festival at Ockbrook & Borrowash - We have pulled out both our 2 sides for this festival, therefore we are not taking part in this Kwik Festival.

We have also cancelled any bookings for the use of our nets via the booking group until the weekend.

Whilst this is likely to be a disappointment to many of our members, we are committed to ensuring the safety of everyone involved at Sawley CC, and we ask all our members and their families to please be careful over coming days as we look to reach the conclusion of this heat wave.
