May represented the first full month of cricket for the 2026 season, therefore that means our hotly contested 'Fantasy Cricket League' is now taking shape.
Sam Trueman's faith in his own 'Bowljobs' paid off - after he collected 3379 points across the month, and with it, his first Manager Of The Month Award.
Well done, Sam!
Charlie Dawson had a strong month and with 3119 points, he finished second for the month and was the only other team to acquire more than 3000 points in the month, with his team - Check the front foot...'
Warren Baldock could be one to look out for this season, with his Sultans of Swing (and still missing...), bagging 3rd place in May, just ahead of the 'Part Timer' Matt Wilson - though at least he is back now, and Matt Lyas and his destroyers, who are not managed by Matt Lyas or his destroyers, and indeed are bossed by Yatharth Parmar, who finished up in 5th place.
Achil Avasthy and Stuart Hubbard were placed 6 and 7, whilst Danny Brown and his team of 'Six Offenders: Redemption', did improve on last months meagre start, to finish 9th.
Overall, with the first games of this month logged on, Sam Trueman holds a slender lead, with Warren Baldock up into an all-time high of 2nd place, followed by Matt Lyas and his destroyers, which have nothing to do with Matt Lyas, or his destroyers, in 3rd place.
Defending champion Luke Marriott and his 'Bucketbangers' are steadily placed in 7th place, just ahead of Tom Pepper and his team of 'Peperami's'. Rob Hardy who is determined to do 'Nowt Daft' this season make up the leading 10.
At the wrong end of the table, Clive Cartwright is already adrift....'Clive, why don't you just give the club your entry fee and save yourself the embarrassment each year?'
