Rob Earlam has scooped our latest 'Performance of the Weekend' Award following his back-to-back unbeaten 50's on Sunday in our 2nd teams Wright Cup double-header.

Rob made 68 and followed that up with 66 as the 2s made a welcome return to winning ways at Spondon, beating both the hosts and Melbourne Town.

In total, he faced 77 balls for his 134 runs, and also hit 6 sixes.

Other nominees were Mark Gordon, who made his second team debut over the weekend, top scoring on Saturday against Derby City (30), then followed that up with his maiden 2nd XI fifty at Spondon the following day; Harriet Parker, who battled bravely to help our 4th XI salvage a losing draw at Abbots Bromley, whilst also hitting her highest score in senior cricket; Charles Baines who took 3/28 - his best first team figures after a fine spell against Tutbury; and Oliver Gadsby who took 3/20 in the 2nd XI on Sunday during the second game against Melbourne, which included a wicket with the very first ball he bowled in second team cricket, and a spell which turned the game Sawley's favour.

Well done Rob, and a big well done to all our nominees from last weekend.
