We are pleased to announce a new initiative directly aimed to help the club generate funds which will be used to aid funding of new club equipment, kit and maintenance.

‘The Sawley CC Lifeline’ is in the final stages of preparation, and we hope to have this monthly draw up and running by March 2026.

•What is the Sawley CC Lifeline?
We propose this will be a monthly draw, with a limit of 200 numbers. Each number (‘or ball’) costs £5 per month to enter.
There will be 3 monthly prizes, with the total revenue generated from the draws being split, with 50% to the ‘Lifeline’ and the other 50% distributed as prizes.

The funds which will be deposited into the ‘Lifeline’ stands as a separate Account to the Main Club Account, and will be used at a time when the club needs assistance with something like club maintenance, equipment or kit. When this help is provided, it will be made clear that the contributors to the ‘Sawley Lifeline’ have provided the necessary funding for this purchase.

We aim for the monthly draw to take place at club events, where many of our members are present.

•Who can take part?
The Lifeline is open to all our membership, their friends and family - With 200 numbers available for the monthly draw, the more balls taken, the bigger the prizes and the more the club can benefit!

•Next steps
If you are interested in becoming a ‘Lifeline Member’, please contact Thomas Pepper.
Your interest will be registered, and providing we have enough members interested, we aim to make our first ‘Lifeline’ draw in the middle of March 2026.
You will be allocated a number and given the bank details to pay your monthly £5 fee.
