A reminder of our big day tomorrow, the day we get our homes ready for action for the upcoming season – which is very nearly upon us!

Whilst the first team, along with some second team members will now be travelling to Duffield for a Pre-Season Friendly at Eyes Meadow (12 noon), we are anticipating that there will not be so many members coming to help – But please, if you are able to come, please still come along, there is still lots of work to be done – if we can get lots of help, it won’t take as long to get everything sorted!

Please bare in mind the very popular Park Run which starts at 9am, and won’t be out of the way until just after 9.30am. With this in mind, a number of fourth team members are opening up the Graham Draycott Pavilion at 10am, until around 12.30pm – where the changing rooms and surrounding area around the Pavilion will be given a sincere seeing to! Any help is appreciated on that side of the Park, as well as the Bill Camm area.

Richard Gadsby will still be around from about 9.15am to take any player photographs, until around 10am – but with the friendly game now scheduled, he’s not expecting too many candidates – but it will only take 5 minutes, so before you get stuck into your tasks, please feel free to have your photos taken, bring your white and/or green Sawley top along with your bat & batting gloves. If any first team players would like to swing by before departing, please do so.

On that note, a number of players have asked about photographs – and I will try to organise another ‘shoot’ next weekend, or even 1 evening in the forthcoming week, as the nights are drawing out quite rapidly now – Thank you to those who have asked!

So finally, please come along in the morning, if you have some cleaning products, brushes – please bring them along.
