Thank you to everyone who came to what is becoming a popular Annual Event in our yearly schedule – Our Curry & Quiz Night – which was held last Friday evening at The Bill Camm Pavilion.

With several different curries to sample to get the evening underway, the Quiz, hosted by Mr Jeff Glover followed shortly afterwards from just after 8pm.
Thankfully, Jeff managed to keep the participants in-check, with certain tables becoming rowdy during the question-time!
With 7 teams entering the Quiz, scores became quite tight, especially once teams realised there were prizes up for grabs!
It was another enjoyable evening provided by the club – with special thanks to all those involved for making sure the event could take place; Jo Slater, Sarah Lyle & Graham Buchanan for the food. Bo and Charles Baines for organising the event, Ellie for looking after the bar, and Jeff for putting together such an enjoyable quiz – and holding the evening together!

For the record, the results of the quiz were;
7th; The Senior Squad – 54 pts
6th; Shut The Gate – 62 pts
5th; Chappo Of Rest – 64 pts
4th; Team Bosh – 69 pts
3rd Place winning £20 bar vouchers – Never Mind The Moonboots – 70 pts – Captained by the Hubbards
2nd Place winning £30 bar vouchers – JAMZY-P – 72 pts Captained by the Slater’s
WINNERS with 78pts – Winning £50 cash and £20 bar vouchers – Quiz on my **** – Captained by Matt Wilson, along with the Trueman’s & Martin’s.
