Our Annual Presentation Evening was held last Friday, at Long Eaton Rugby Club.
Thank you to everyone who came – there were well over 100 people present.
A run through the evening, along with the award winners;

Under 9’s
Achil Avasthy, who helped run our entry level softball team through 2024, gave an overview of the teams achievements this year, and all players were presented with a medal.

Under 11 Hardball
Our youngest hardball side had a steady year, with many new players stepping up into the team over the course of the year. Akhil Avasthy, who shared his 2nd team duties with running the Under 11’s, gave an overview of the team. All the players received a medal and the awards were handed out;

Under 13
On behalf of Kieran Pell & Reece Jackson who ran the team in 2024, Gary Birley read out some words, praising the team on a very successful year – finishing 4th in the Division – and the only team which beat Sandiacre in the League. Players received medals, followed by the Awards;

Under 15
Richard Gadsby ran through a few words from the season, with Reece & Kieran having took charge of team affairs throughout the year. It had been a tough debut season for our inexperienced Under 15’s, but were still some positive signs heading into 2025. The final medals were handed out to our remaining junior players present on the night.

Junior Of The Year Award
The final Junior Award from our Presentation in the Junior section was awarded to Nathan Hardy, reflecting on the dedication & hard work throughout 2024 for one of the clubs most highly promising junior players.
